The Twilight Zone

Under a setting sun and after dark, Kebun Chris reveals its shy residents.

The Mandarin Dragonet so named according to Wikipedia from its vivid coloration, like the robes of an Imperial Chinese Mandarin official.

And the White's Seahorse, so timid and bashful, curled around the finger corals

The Boss's Garden (Kebun Chris) is looking particularly pretty at the moment.  Who could ask for a better office?  And of course it doubles up as one of the most pleasant dive training pools you can find.  If you have never tried diving before or simply want to refresh your skills after a break then you should come on over, the water's lovely :)

The clown fish have re-established themselves, electric clams have taken up residence in just 8m! right here off the beach and to cap it all we saw a pair of Harlequin shrimp on the last night dive adventure course- just wish we'd could have taken the camera to capture that moment...

Early Riser

August is a upon us already.  While this can be a windy time of year we are currently blessed with beautiful calm conditions and the reefs are looking radiant.  During the days we are kept very busy entertaining divers and snorkellers alike with all our boats running to the wide and rich choice of reef sites in the area. 
But before the main business of the day really begins, the best moment can be had, taking in the unbelievable beauty as the sun pokes its head above the horizon.

Here at Reef Seen we welcome divers at all levels.  What could be more special for a father than to share his passion with his daughter.   Peter is an accomplished underwater photographer who has come diving with us year after year, bringing his family to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Pemuteran Bay.  In the early years, excited by the clean, sandy beach and generally calm warm water here, his daughter Billie learnt to swim and ever since she has been an avid snorkeller.  This year was a new landmark for her as she extended her skills with Discover Scuba Dives.  We hope to welcome them both back again for more....
