Not such a Lonely Planet

Reef Seen was delighted to welcome representatives from both the Lonely Planet and Kemenpar (Kementerian Pariwisata - Indonesia Tourism). Their short stay at our dive resort was to learn more about our work on local environmental projects to protect our marine world,  to see how Chris Brown has contributed to educate people in Pemuteran to take care of this precious resource. On land they visited Proyek Penyu (The Turtle Hatchery) and in the ocean off-shore we guided them for snorkelling at BioWreck and Close Encounters.

The loss of a friend

It is with great sadness we join the rest of the diving community to mourn the loss of Nigel Wade
Such a talented photographer, we are happy to have shared some hours of fun in our part of the underwater world. One of the world's true gentlemen, massive personality and friend to everyone whose lives he touched, Nigel you will be sorely missed.  Our condolences to his family.

5* Service recognised

For 25 years we've been doing what we do best, as the first dive operator in Pemuteran since 1991. This week Reef Seen Divers Resort was presented with this award from Paul "Tosh" Tanner, PADI Regional Manager, for our 15 years of outstanding service as a PADI member resort.

On TV again....

Sailing for Distant Shores (Kurs Mod Fyerne Kyster) have sailed all the way to Pemuteran. 

Well actually they moored S/Y Havana in the south of Bali, making the final leg across Bali by car to find out more about our projects. Drawn here initially by Proyek Penyu (The Turtle Hatchey) Marian, Mikkel and the rest of the crew have also discovered the many other aspects of our work here in protecting the local environment.  Those of you glued to Danish TV-2 will have to wait a few months to see this episode....
